Synopsis: Based on a true story, THE POSSESSION is the terrifying story of how one family must unite in order to survive the wrath of an unspeakable evil.
Clyde (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Stephanie Brenek (Kyra Sedgwick) see little cause for alarm when their youngest daughter Em becomes oddly obsessed with an antique wooden box she purchased at a yard sale. But as Em’s behavior becomes increasingly erratic, the couple fears the presence of a malevolent force in their midst, only to discover that the box was built to contain a dibbuk, a dislocated spirit that inhabits and ultimately devours its human host.

Review: Paranorman

Yep, it’s starting to look like we’ve become the house of Paranorman around here, thanks to the contest…and now this review, but really- you will like this. I did. I really, really did.

Synopsis: A misunderstood boy who can speak with the dead, takes on ghosts, zombies and grown-ups to save his town from a centuries-old curse.

Now, as clear as I can make this…this is the best mix of ‘a movie the kids can see that the parents won’t get bored as fuck at’. Remember when cartoons were like that? Now they suck. This movie CAN be a bit scary at times for very little ones (which was hilarious to the Zombiequeen and I when we heard a little one squeek out ‘I don’t wanna see this movie anymore…’ during a scary scene followed by a moment of quiet.) But overall it’s a pretty safe bet that kids will like it… especially ‘spooky kids’. Enough about the rugrats, Adults will like it too… full of social commentary that is subtle instead of skull crushing, and visually beautiful, Paranorman is a hit for everyone.
I definitely approve:

Hells yeah! Look at the kick assery of this contest! If you ever wanted to be in a Full Moon movie, then this post is for you… read on for the full deal…the only sucky part is that the sweepstakes is NOT open to Canadians, but all of our American readers should take note!

About Zombies vs. Strippers
Something is taking over Redbox video rentals. It started when the bath salt epidemic brought the “zombie apocalypse” to the forefront of media attention. Now, as the sun goes down over Los Angeles, the walking dead are making a surprise attack. Zombies Vs. Strippers is a fun, comedic horror movie with the perfect blend of “brains” and… you know. The Tough Titty has seen better days and tonight it’s gonna see a whole lot worse. How do Vanilla, Bambi, and Sugar Hills deal with the disaster? The only way strippers can. Blood and brassieres are flying – and fans are gobbling it up.

Directed by: Alex Nicolaou. Starring: Circus-Szalewski (Dead Want Women, Evil Bong), Eve Mauro (Osombie, Sorority Party Massacre), Brittany Gael Vaughn (Hair, Hairspray), and adult star Adriana Sephora.
