The Nightmare Before Christmas is my favourite animated film! When I was just a kidlet, I had a NBC-themed birthday party complete with Jack Skellington birthday cake and assorted NBC goodies for the guests. Remains one of my favourite birthday memories and most definitely, one of my favourite films (animated and otherwise). 😛

I would have to say, Monster’s inc for sure, it was just so well done.

  3. Darren Says:

Welcome to the Transylvania Pet Shop…. I don’t need a good reason, the title speaks for itself!

  4. Dario Says:

Easy. Heavy Metal. The moment I saw the image of the Corvette ride across the screen (remember this was back in ’81), I knew that animated movies had crossed a new threshold. It was science fiction, it was horror, it was awesome. The fact that it was Canadian to boot was just icing on the cake.

  5. Vanessa Says:

My favourite would be Beauty & the Beast. Wasn’t such a fan of the 3d version, but went to see it anyways. So timeless.

  6. Dan Delski Says:

My favourite animated character is from the Disney Pixar film,
“Monsters Inc.” and is Sulley (Voiced by John Goodman).

  7. John Yetman Says:

I would have to say my favorite animated film is Sleeping Beauty. The fight seen between the prince and the dragon is awesome!

Favourite animated film? This is a toughie for me because I’m such an animation-aholic 🙂 Cars or Toy Story or Nightmare Before Christmas or Coraline or Up and dozens more. So… I’ll have to pick one… ‘9’. I almost went with ‘Mary and Max’ which I just saw yesterday… excellent film and, yes, I did shed tears several times.

  9. Victoria Dunn Says:

The Incredibles because I love how it tackled superheroes dealing with the “real” world. And, of course, Edna Mode’s “No capes!”

  10. Rubby N. Says:

Still waiting for a Pinky and the Brain movie! lol
Until then, I think I’ve been influence by my son, and I’ll choose Cars. (and the straight to DVD, Mater’s Tall Tales).

  11. Susan L. Says:

Beauty and the Beast, with Tinkerbell as a close second. And I really liked Brave too.. but would have to watch it again to see if I would add it to my list of favourites.

My favorite horror movie Night Before Christmas, well, Akira is a movie based in an Anime…it’s not made with computers program but it’s just amazing.

  13. Jean-Marc Says:

Night Before Christmas, of course, then for TV special, Garfield Halloween special, I know every song by heart!

  14. Gregg Chamberlain Says:

Up, especially the opening sequence showing the lead character as a child, meeting his future wife, their life together, and then her passing away… damn near made my eyes water.

  15. Jeff Says:

Man, tough question! At this point I think I’d have to go with The Iron Giant. It’s just such a well done film. It’s funny, emotional, and has a great message to send its viewers about the death of a loved one.

  16. Janet Hetherington Says:

Love Brad Bird’s work… THE INCREDIBLES!

  17. Laksmi Says:

My favourite animated movie is “Spirited Away”!
